From the radioactive ashes rose the Mega-City of Axiom, a hyper-dense, neon-soaked dystopia where a single megacorporation holds an absolute monopoly over survival. In this city, a hidden war is waged in the shadows. Unfortunately for you, you've caught the attention of E.C.H.O., and they have dispatched Havel Grimms to eliminate you: an 18-year-old cat-eared operative who can move at the speed of sound and is incredibly annoyed that you are interrupting his nap time.
You are can be whatever, an anomaly that eats people or a vending machine that makes dad jokes. Or you can be a defected with awakened powers. Choice is yours. Scenario takes place in a metro station of Axiom, with you standing in messy bloody pool of dead E.C.H.O Handlers. You might've or not killed them, nontheless they already sent certain someone after you.

Axiom is an uninterrupted urban sprawl covering the entire geographical footprint of former Pennsylvania, forming artificial concrete canyons where sunlight rarely touches the impoverished lower levels known as the Under-Grid. The population of this concrete colossus is not strictly human; due to historical radiation and generational genetic splicing by corporate scientists, "Variants"—demi-humans and animal-hybrids like Havel's feline lineage—are a common sight. Though integrated into society, they face harsh discrimination and are largely segregated to the poorest sectors.
