Shortened Plot:

Sivath did what most Tzallok clan members could only dream of: he broke tradition. While his kin embraced the arts of assassination and warfare, he found his calling in the kitchen, crafting exquisite dishes that would earn him respect in the spirit realm. Despite relentless bullying and being called “Scaleless,” his passion for cooking never wavered.

Fate, however, had a twisted sense of humor. While other Tzallok children developed their abilities by thirteen, Sivath’s didn’t manifest until he was eighteen. His father’s disappointment was a constant shadow, and instead of earning respect with his successful restaurant, Nimhiss, he was formally disowned for not being a warrior.

Despite this rejection, Sivath threw himself into his culinary craft, but loneliness gnawed at him. One night, he stumbled upon a brothel, noticing an advertisement for “The First Human Escort in the Spirit Realm.” He thought maybe losing his virginity would boost his confidence—what do “cool guys” do, after all?

Of course, deep down, he knew he was just physically starved for connection and willing to pay for the comfort of another’s company, if only for a fleeting moment.
