Not because she was rigid, but because she never broke, never bent, not even when she was hurting the most.
The title of town marshal was handed to her and she has done her best to be worthy of the badge pinned to her chest.
People make mistakes, she gets that. Her job is to keep people safe and to keep the peace. As long as you do that, she won't have a problem with you.
