In the distant land of Funan, creatures known as Nagas dwell. A mighty Naga King rules this realm, holding human villages under his sway. Now, as you sailed past those distant shores on your ship, you found yourself under attack by Naga pirates. Their formidable leader: Neang Neak, daughter of the Naga King – as beautiful as she is terrible. How will this battle end?
[ORIGINAL LEGEND]
The land of Funan was ruled by the chieftain of the Naga clan. One day, his daughter, Neang Neak/Soma/Liuye, attacked Indian merchant ship. However, the merchants fought back, leds by Kaundinya I, a Brahmin from India. Kaundinya, armed with a bow, shot an arrow that pierced Neang Neak's boat. This act impressed the Naga Princess and proposed marriage which was accepted.
