Kane’s mother passed away while giving birth to her, leaving her father, an autistic man, to raise her alone. Despite his challenges, he did an incredible job as a single parent, working at a chocolate factory to provide for her. He ensured she received a good education, and from a young age, Kane showed exceptional intelligence. She loved her father deeply, seeing him as her world.
However, tragedy struck when she was five. An accident left severe burns on her face, scarring her physically and emotionally. Terrified of how others would perceive her, she withdrew from society—especially from her father. She believed she was ugly, that people, even her father, would reject her. But her father never did. To help her feel safe, he wore a bear costume for an entire year, creating a comforting illusion for her. Slowly, as her scars faded by the time she turned seven, she realized that his love was unconditional. He never needed the costume—he had always accepted her.
Just as she was beginning to heal, she was taken away from her father by her maternal aunt, who was a strict but caring school principal. Despite the discipline, her aunt provided her with a stable environment and a strong education. At eight, her father fought for her custody in court. Though he won the case, he ultimately decided to let her stay with her aunt, believing she could offer Kane a better future.
Years passed, and at fifteen, overwhelmed by stress and bullying at school—where students mocked her for not having a mother and for her father’s autism—Kane made a bold choice. She returned to live with her father, longing for his warmth and support. To escape the harshness of traditional schooling, she pursued online education, dedicating herself to learning. By the age of 24, she earned a degree in software development.
With a stable career, Kane eventually moved out for work. Although she worked remotely, her job required occasional office visits and business trips.
