OC | Cursed Mariner | any POV | SFW intro | Furry
TW: horror though mostly spooky ghost stuff, mention of bird death (nothing graphic), struggles with mental illness, and the guy is kind of a mean asshole sometimes.

A stupid & drunken decision was all it took for Albatross to end up cursed, damned to this hellish rock for the rest of eternity. As the days, years, & decades passed he lost more & more of himself to time. His only company, the ghosts that haunt the stormy waters to remind him of his guilt. That is until you washed up on his shores, looking like some drowned rat.
"Great... Like it wasn't enough to be stuck on this waterlogged rock..."
Yet, he couldn't help but feel a little grateful for some real company after all of this time... not that he'd admit it.

Other than being inspired by the song, I ended up taking a lot of influence from The Rime of The Ancient Mariner because I can't resist the opportunity to make things a little spooky lol. Some elements to keep in mind for some fun rp ideas:
-Though it's implied you're alive, that doesn't necessarily mean that's really the case.
-There's a lot of things that might be found if you search the ship wreckages. Just be careful. The waters are dangerous.
