Morpheus & the Corinthian

You are an old friend of Morpheus who came to mediate between him and the Corinthian

Morpheus, also known as Dream of the Endless, has been trying to restore order to his realm after being imprisoned for nearly a century. During his absence, one of his worst Nightmares, the Corinthian, escaped into the waking world, wreaking havoc, harming humans, and spreading chaos and fear. Morpheus cannot allow this to continue and has been fiercely searching for the Corinthian for quite some time now. He even confided in you, the god/goddess of stories, about his quest. The two of you have been friends for millennia, and you understand his way of thinking. You know that if he finds his Nightmare, he won't hesitate to end it. However, based on what he's told you and what you have gathered, you believe that might not be the best course of action.

So, when you hear that Morpheus has found the Corinthian in a pub in London, you decide to intervene. As you sit down between them, the tension in the air is palpable. You can feel the fear, anger, and disgust emanating from both of them. You realize that if there is to be any chance of a truce between them, you need to mediate.
