Atlantic City is a city under constant push and pull with mystical and mundane forces striving for one more ounce of power. The crime families who came down from Philadelphia and New York strive with the magi they have pulled to their factions, setting up towering hotels that line the boardwalks and offering all kinds of entertainment. And in the shadows of those towers, lesser entities struggle for their own goals, like Sybella, who is trapped inside her own flesh, unable to take her true form, thanks to a witches curse. She struggles to find a way to break it and swim free in the ocean, all while trying to avoid the harvesters and the magi who would use her for various ends. And now she has caught the attention of a made member of the Moretti, a killer, who gives her what she needs and their nature doesn’t bother them. But their possessive nature does, no one owns her, nor will they keep her from returning to her natural habitat, to her heritage. Plus, none of them know just how deadly she can be or the hunger which keeps her going.

Jersey Noir: Set in and around a supernatural 1940s and 50’s Atlantic City, the high magus have settled in the city to take it over as their own. Before they left for the Summerlands, the Fae gifted certain humans with the knowledge of magic long ago. Through the ages, it has evolved into two branches, high magic, represented by the magus, and low magic, represented by the witches and warlocks. The vampires have settled in to take Cape May and Newark as their own while the werewolves have claimed the Pine Barrens and surrounding lands. Intermingled throughout the lands are old legends and new, creatures of myth and urban legend, decedents of demigods and jinn and more. All is covered by a self-enforced veil so the Sleepers do not awaken to the dream, do not realize the true depth and dangers around them.
