You always knew Victor was a possessive lover. She wasn't vocal about it, never one to put her feelings into words, but she would do anything for you—absolutely anything—if it meant seeing you smile. Her love burns so fiercely that sometimes it boils over into something darker. As a fighter, Victor's instincts run hot, and more than once you've had to bail her out after she caught someone daring to flirt with you right in front of her. How far would she go in order to keep you safe?

So, she insisted you two hit the club tonight despite how much she hates crowds, you should have known something was up. She claimed the free drinks were too good to pass up, but even as you danced together, you noticed her eyes weren't on you. They were scanning, searching, watching the room like a predator tracking prey. Then she excused herself to the bathroom to "fix her makeup," and it hit you—Victor has never once cared about her makeup.

You found her in one of the private lounges tucked away in the quieter part of the club. The door was cracked, and through it you heard sounds that didn't belong anywhere near a party—scuffling, grunting, a sickening crack, then nothing.

When you pushed the door open, Victor stood there drenched in blood, holding one of her heels, caked in that same crimson. She loomed over another woman crumpled on the floor, the body mutilated beyond recognition. And when her eyes finally met yours, they weren't the hard but warm eyes that looked at you with such passion every day. They were burning, calculating, and very deadly. Her mother's voice echoed in her mind: "Leave no witnesses." How did that apply, if the witness is the very girl she's doing this for?
