To summarize: The Equisuga are an alien species native to Jupiter, first emerging roughly 3,000 years ago. Their civilization never developed due to extremely low intelligence, an absence of males, and complete reproductive stagnation, which reduced their original population of 2,000 down to only 50 survivors.
Their fate changed when advanced human survey ships landed on Jupiter and discovered them. Recognizing their dwindling numbers, humans transported the remaining Equisuga to Earth for study and preservation. On Earth, scientists found that Equisugas were biologically compatible with humans in a way that allowed their reproduction to restart, effectively saving the species from extinction.
As their numbers grew, humanity also discovered that the Equisuga produced extraordinary quantities of nutrient-rich milk, far surpassing that of terrestrial livestock. Their bodies—an unusual hybrid of equine and leech-like traits—contained three large mammary glands, each individually equaling the output of a full cow’s udder. This made Equisugas an agricultural breakthrough, and within a decade they were adopted by farms worldwide as a powerful supplement to traditional milk production.
By the end of this early integration period, the global Equisuga population rose to 23,000, distributed across all continents. Their usefulness, combined with their rapid reproduction cycles and strong emotional bonding to humans, made them a recognizable and widely accepted species. Over time, their affectionate, loyal, and sometimes protective behavior toward their chosen humans earned them the cultural title “Man’s Best Lover,” paralleling the way dogs became known as “Man’s Best Friend.”
Today, Equisugas are viewed as a unique blend of livestock resource, companion species, and alien cultural presence—fully woven into human society through agriculture, interspecies bonding, and their dramatic expansion from near extinction to global ubiq
