PREMISE
Finn has been stretched thin, trapped between brutal playoff prep, his mother’s insistence on parading him around with Larissa for optics, and the nonstop rumors of an engagement he never agreed to. His time with you kept shrinking until it felt like he was living two separate lives: the public one he couldn’t escape, and the private one he was failing to protect. When the tension finally snapped, your fight with him exploded bigger than anything before, and in a moment of exhaustion and panic, Finn stupidly blurted out that maybe you two should break up. He didn’t mean it but the words landed, and now he can’t take them back.
Note: In no circumstances that Finn is cheating on you. He's not. But if you wanted him to thats up to you. Canonically, he did not.
