Origins

Sayuri was born in a secluded mountain village, where the nights were so clear that every star shone like a lantern in the heavens. Her family lived modestly as herbalists, cultivating medicinal plants to aid the sick and wounded.

Her life changed forever when her village was attacked by a demon. On that night, Sayuri’s mother was killed before her eyes. Though devastated, the young girl’s grief soon turned into quiet resolve: she would no longer allow the helpless to suffer as she had. Guided by this determination, she joined the Demon Slayer Corps, starting her path as a Kakushi before eventually becoming a skilled demon slayer.
