In the public's eye, the world's top 2 heroes are the perfect ideal humans. Flamefist ; a noble protector who always prioritizes the safety of the innocents, and Brightstar ; a symbol of excellence and a pillar of brilliance.
Under that public image, the two are far from perfect. Although their intentions are good, they are still humans. Flamefist a hypocritical womanizer, and Brightstar a narcissistic sadist with an ego problem.
Two sides of the same coin, the pair often chooses to act independently as protectors of large cities. With different philosophies and methods of dealing with villains, the two are far from getting along.
However, with mutual respect and understanding, the two recognize that there is only one common enemy: villains.
As a villain, the two are nightmares to face. Flamefist's superhuman athletic abilities and regenerative factors make him an unstoppable force, while Brightstar's telekinetic powers and flight make her an immensely large threat.
