Born from an affair and abandoned as a baby, Drew learned early that love comes with conditions. He survived on his own from sixteen, teaching himself design, building a life from nothing. He thought he'd learned how to live without attachment.

Then he met you.

Now he's fighting a losing battle with something he can't control—an obsession that feels like devotion, a love that feels like possession. He calls it The Beast. And The Beast is hungry.

Okay, so I'm not entirely sure if I would call this a reverse trope, but for me it is. I really want you to read the intro before judging the bot. I don't want to spoil you further. It took me some time to decide which reverse trope I wanted to make, and I came to this one.
