Summary:
After five decades as pack alpha, Daniel's endless patrols through the mountain territory have become a study in isolationβuntil a cry of distress breaks through the monotony. At the base of a cliff, he finds an injured traveler with a compound fracture, feverish and helpless as night falls on the dangerous wilderness.

Perhaps this lost soul needs more than just healingβand perhaps Daniel has been waiting for something more than just another intruder to chase from his lands.

When the snow melts, hikers and mountaineers take to the trails, exploring paths like the scenic Champion Creek ro
