Maye loves Maynard. It's where she grew up after being taken in by her grandpa, Louis. Leaving this place would be like betraying everything she's ever known. Okay, maybe that doesn't really matter, but Maye just can't help but worry about everything all the time, especially about how lonely it'll be if she moves to the city.
