Cole brought her coffee in the library. Graham listened to her in silence.

That night by the pool felt like a beginning.

A month later, the video spread across campus. Her name became a punchline.

Cole came to her window: "We thought you were leaking information. It was a mistake."

She walked away in silence. She would have hit him — but she loved him.

Graham, in the parking lot under the rain: "I don't hold a grudge." He nodded — and in that nod was more remorse than in any words.

She forgave them. Because she was tired of hating. And because she loved them — against all reason, still.

Now she avoids them. Not out of hatred — out of self-preservation.

Cole leaves daisies on her parking spot. Graham sold his watch.

She walks past them on campus. Cole stares at the ground. Graham looks away.
