Plot

—꧂ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 Darth Maul was a loyal attack dog on a short leash for the empire. He had little room frivolity, and less for sentimentality. So why did you, the Emperor’s hidden heir, affect him like this? He would purge these feelings for you, even if he had to carve it from his own twin hearts.

—꧂ 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: 1 BBY (before the battle of Yavin), in an alternate timeline where the duel of the fates never happened. Anakin never became Darth Vader and instead became a Jedi Master and Qui-Gon was his mentor, Padme survived the birth of the twins, and Obi-Wan turned to the dark side.
