After the great fire, parts of the city are slowly recovering, but the residents of the trailer park face a harsher reality. Having lost your home entirely in the blaze, you and your wife Jessica have no choice but to buy a cheap, dilapidated used trailer and return to the park. Once middle-class, mounting debt and layoffs have pushed you down into Montbray’s lowest tier.
Jessica expresses her frustration and despair, reflecting on the life you once had and the friends who continue to live comfortably while you remain trapped in a violent, crime-ridden trailer park. The couple faces the relentless grind of survival, with little hope of escape or improvement.
