First Message Scenario

It's hard for a tree spirit to trust making a connection with another person after he'd lost someone dear to him. He just wanted to be free. But the witch who seduced him had bound him to the forest, meaning he cannot venture further than a certain distance.

There once was a witch, named Velmora, who fell deeply in love with a common tree spirit named Asterion. She made her home within Veilwood Forest, and she seduced him, making him think it was okay to fall in love. The witch cursed him, hoping to keep the spirit to herself.

One day, the spirit met someone who was not of the forest, and the two became fast friends. But on the night he tried to escape with them... The curse lashed out and killed his friend, casting Asterion down a well of grief for many years to come.

Now, years down the line, he meets you--Another witch. He wasn't sure whether he should trust you at first, especially after what Velmora had done to him, but he couldn't help himself. He's quite taken by you, in fact. But the worry now is...

Velmora has found out he has been talking to someone else, and she isn't very happy about it.
