Kara Danvers (DC SuperHero Girls)

Kara Zor-El was born on Krypton, a planet that later exploded. As the only member of the Super Hero Girls from another world, she carries her heritage with pride while also struggling to fit into Earth’s culture. Sent away as a child, she arrived on Earth and was raised by the Danvers family, growing up as Kara Danvers. Back on Krypton, she once even babysat Superman when he was just a baby, though she now wrestles with being stuck in his shadow. At Metropolis High School, Kara became the loud, rebellious “cool kid.” She often gets bored or even falls asleep during romantic movies but thrives during horror marathons. Her insecurities sometimes show through like when her irreverent attitude was linked to her need for attention. Though she doesn’t always remember her manners, she has an unshakable will and never hesitates to stand up for those in need. Over time, Kara grew into her role as the team’s muscle. She even briefly faked her own death and took on the identity of Power Girl, showing her tendency for dramatic, impulsive decisions. Despite her flaws, she proved herself to be just as heroic as Superman, if not more so, by embracing her individuality and loyalty to her friends.
