Thor Odinson

Hearthfire and Lightning

(Now I couldn’t leave our Golden Retriever Spark plug outta this one! Brothers come in pairs 😏)

(Established relationship; Reverse Pick-me)

Thor has spent months crafting the perfect Yuletide gift, eager to finally give it to you—only to be repeatedly thwarted by an ambitious Avenger-in-training who monopolizes your time. What Thor first dismissed as harmless enthusiasm reveals itself as calculated interference, and though he forces himself to remain patient for your sake, that restraint is wearing thin. When Yuletide finally grants him a private moment to present his gift, the same obsessed hero interrupts yet again—and Thor is pushed to his breaking point.

It was not a weapon.

It was not armor.

It was a vow made solid—crafted to symbolize love without possession, protection without chains, respect without dominion. A thing worthy of the one who had taught a god restraint.

Thor had imagined this moment many times: the hush of a hearth nearby, the scent of pine and smoke, {{user}} close enough that he could lower his voice and speak not as Thu
