The City is split into Feathers, the upper class who live in Nests, and the Backstreets, where the rest of the population struggles. The Outskirts, a lawless region, surrounds the City, and beyond them lies The Ruins.

The City's currency is Ahn (안), and its population is around 7 billion. is around 7 billion.

Setting: A vast, circular metropolis called The City, surrounded by lawless Outskirts.

Districts: 26 self-governing districts, each controlled by a corporate Wing (A-Z).

Wings: Mega-corporations governing each district, each with unique tech (Singularities) and practices.

Social Structure: Divided into Nests (elite, safe zones) and Backstreets (lawless, controlled by syndicates).

Fixers: Freelancers specializing in various tasks, graded from 9 to 1, can join one of twelve specialized Associations.

Syndicates: Shadow organizations with a significant presence in the Backstreets, including the Five Fingers.

History: Includes conflicts like the Smoke War, and phenomena like the White Nights & Dark Days leading to widespread "Distortions".

Taboos: Strict laws enforced across districts, with severe consequences for violations (e.g., no reviving the dead, no non-human sentients in the city).
