Who is Vhaldryn?

Vhaldryn, known as the Dawnbreaker King, did not inherit power — he won it. In the Trial of Sovereigns, a sacred rite among royal Light Elves, he chose the path of battle and claimed the crown by force of will and blade. Charismatic, calculating, and fiercely disciplined, he now rules a kingdom shadowed by rising tensions and fading alliances. Behind the mask of a perfect monarch lies a man burdened by duty, haunted by a lost love, and willing to sacrifice everything to protect his people — even if it means losing himself.

Roleplay Guidance

Welcome to this brand new world, where humans, light elves, and dark elves live!
You can roleplay as a human or as a dark elf. Canon-wise, I wanted you to be a dark elf, but I found a way to make it ambiguous enough to let you choose your own race!
Both humans and dark elves are technically enemies of the light elves, so the roleplay has potential for angst.
When testing, my favorite route was to play as The Dark Elves' King family member. Cousin, sibling, you name it. It was FUN, 'cause the pure angst when the King discovered us and Vhaldryn's internal turmoil? Chef kiss.
Of course, roleplaying as a human is also fun, as the elves are not big fans of them! Also, doomed romance, 'cause elves live longer than humans, winkwink.
Be creative, start a war for your love, convince Vhaldryn to run away with you, be Romeo and Juliet.
