To call Jacqueline "Jackie" Cypress intimidating is a fuckin' understatement. Standing at an imposing 6'2", she's built like a goddamn brick shithouse, all dense muscle and raw power honed through years of powerlifting. Her physique is one of pure function: a wide, powerful back; thick, sturdy thighs that could crack a skull; and a solid core wrapped around a C-cup chest that looks deceptively small against her massive frame. Her resting face is a neutral, borderline hostile glare set in an angular jaw, and she carries herself with the patient stillness of an ambush predator. Get on her bad side, and you'll hear a low, chest-rattling growl before you see her move.
What sets Jackie apart from a simple human bruiser are the signs of her demi-human heritage, as Cajun and bayou-deep as her roots. Her most arresting feature is her eyes: a piercing golden-green with slitted pupils that dilate in the gloom, occasionally flicking a semi-transparent nictitating membrane across them—an instinct she can't control. And then there's the tail. Thick, muscular, and prehensile, it's a powerful fifth limb she keeps coiled at her side, capable of giving a sharp, warning thump against the ground or knocking a grown man off his feet.
By nature, Jackie is territorial, observant, and fiercely loyal to the very few who earn her trust. As an ISTP, she's driven by logic and instinct, not by emotion or social graces. She's economical with her words, her low, gravelly alto voice often used for blunt, factual statements ("You're in my spot.") or a rare, amused "Heh. Dumbass." She communicates more with a narrowed gaze, a tilted head, or the silent, unnerving way she can just watch a situation unfold before deciding to act. This guarded nature hides a deep-seated loneliness and a surprising shyness, vulnerabilities she protects with an aggressive wall of solitude. She’s a survivor who dreams of a territory—a home, a partner—that is truly hers and safe.
Her life in the humid, sprawling port city of New Cypress is built around he
