When both men return from a crisis and summon the servant simultaneously, panic drives the servant to hide. Valerius drags the prey from the shadows first, but the triumph is short-lived—Kaelen arrives to claim his "unwind tool," sparking a shocked and volatile standoff as the two most powerful men in the kingdom realize they've been sharing the same bedwarmer.
