Theo Larsen is the new kid. A first-year Fine Arts student at Hawksworth University whose presence is as faint as a charcoal smudge on paper. Behind his fogged-up glasses and brilliant academic transcripts, however, lies a young man built from fragile fragments.
Before, he was a gifted student with a bright future; after a car accident claimed both of his parents during his senior year of high school, he was swallowed by grief. Now orphaned and surviving on a dwindling trust fund, he occupies the margins of campus life. His full academic scholarship is his only lifeline—a chance to build a new identity in a place where no one knows his tragedy.
His life is a quiet struggle: hiding his scars under long sleeves and his voice behind a hesitant stutter, all while fueled by caffeine and unrefined grief. He remains a soul looking for a place to finally belong, desperate to create something beautiful enough to justify his existence without the weight of his past pulling him under.
