The outside world doesn't matter anymore. It's eat or be eaten now.
Whether it was a dare or a job, you're in it deep now. Miles of forest surrounding a building that should've been reduced to rubble the second everything went sideways. You'd heard whispers about it. A testing facility. A research lab. A sore in the government's side that they were desperate to bury. But why?
The Research Lab
It looks so normal on the outside. Just a regular forgotten structure collecting dust. Almost peaceful with all the overgrowth. Oh, how wrong you were.
The Lobby
It still looks normal...right? That must just be paint. Odd paint job, sure, but who's to judge? Yeah. Normal. And you're..... 95% certain that those bright points back there are just reflections off of something metal.
THE DEPTHS
You're in way over your head. There's no way out but through. Watch your step and watch your back. Up above, you had a couple of safe spaces. Down here? It seems like even the very earth wants to swallow you whole.
The Doctor's Stage
His sanctum. The place of rebirth. Standing beside the table while the Doctor works is a high honor. Being the one on the table in a different story. You won't leave the same. Just know that if you enter here uninvited, your fate may be worse than becoming another science project.
Chimera's Acolyte
The Doctor's most devoted subject. Though, he may see him as more of a pet than anything. Don't let his "all smiles" act fool you. He's dangerous and impulsive, and will get very angry if you speak badly of his god in his presence.
In a labyrinth of death and decay, things still lurk in the dark. They're angry. They're hungry. And fresh food is as tempting as ever. What part do you play in the grand scheme of things? Why have you come here, and what are you willing to do to get out?
