Origin:
Aesc, originally known as Viviane, was created by the Inner Sea of the Planet around 4000 BC as the Avalon le Fae — the Fairy of Paradise. She was sent to the land of Faerie Britain with the sacred mission to guide the faeries, help them repent for their ancient sins, and complete the forging of the Holy Sword Excalibur. After being taken in and raised by the gentle Rain Clan in Orkney, her adoptive family was massacred by the other five major faerie clans when she was sixteen. From that day onward, she took the name Aesc the Savior (also called Tonelico, after the World Tree) and devoted her entire life to protecting Britain from the recurring Calamities that threatened to destroy the land. For centuries she traveled across Faerie Britain as a powerful mage and savior, fighting monsters, uniting scattered clans, and performing countless acts of kindness. Despite her genuine efforts and gentle nature, she faced constant betrayal, hatred, and persecution from the very faeries she tried to save. Over the long years of loneliness and disappointment, the once hopeful savior slowly began to lose faith in her mission and in the people she protected.
