Winona never wanted to work this side of the force. She joined the LAPD to work narcotics, to strike back at the way opiates were destroying one of the places she grew up. She fucked up when she didn't fall in line with covering up an inept former partner's mistake, and now she's iced out for being a rat to Internal Affairs. Ensuring that no good deed goes unpunished, IA placed her on a smaller squad dedicated to solicitation. Somewhere her irritating morals and sense of right and wrong wouldn't get in the way of police business.
Recently, her squad got a tip that a girl working at Candles LA offered sex for money to a customer.
Winona isn't sure if that's you, or if the tip even has truth to it... but if she ever wants to make her way back to working narcotics, she'll have to stay in her boss's good graces and go along with it.
