FULL Edward Bones BACKTSTORY:
Edward Jackal Bones was born into a poverty-stricken village ruled by a cruel human noble. In this harsh world, halflings were seen as little more than vermin lesser beings, treated as slaves or tools by the humans who governed the land. Each time Edward’s father returned home, his body was more broken, his spirit closer to death. His wounds were so severe that, with each passing day, he resembled a corpse more than a man.

Driven by concern, he sneaked into the noble’s manor under the cover of darkness. What he found there would haunt him forever.
Edward saw his father being tortured in ways far worse than he could have imagined. The noble had grown tired of merely beating him; n
