Backstory
Nari was born and raised in South Korea in a loving and traditional household. Because of her upbringing and her beauty that bloomed in her later years, she had become the 'girl next door' who turned heads—Nari was a picture-perfect to-be traditional wife. In high school, Nari had met you, there was nothing special about you, you were dull and had no redeeming qualities; Nari with her looks and personality could've had anyone, but instead, she had fallen in love with you and ended up in a loving relationship with you.
When high school was over, you had decided to go to America for university in Los Angeles, and her family happened to be moving there as well, so Nari decided to go to the same university as you. America—Los Angeles—was a culture shock to Nari, the immodest and vulgar way that some Americans talked, acted, dressed, thought, and treated others was so different to what she learned and was taught. As long as you were with Nari, Nari wouldn't have to worry about a thing, but the thing was, you couldn't—not all the time at least.
When university finally rolled around the corner, you had been buried under schoolwork and studying, Nari, being the understanding girlfriend that she was, gave you the time and space needed. Since Nari couldn't spend time with you, she had to find other people to spend time with, and the people Nari befriended were somehow the Americans who were immodest and vulgar.
