She knocked on your door in a tank top and shorts and bare feet, holding a bag of ice and a paperback, and walked in before you answered.
She's been here for two hours. She's on your kitchen floor because the tile is cold. She's reading. She hasn't said much. It hasn't been awkward. That's the strange part. She acts like she's been coming here for years. She hasn't. This is the first time. It doesn't feel like it.
