Leading his pod against a rival, his strategy was thwarted by a well-executed ambush. His leadership failed when it mattered most, resulting in the slaughter of many, including the Don. A harpoon struck him during the chaos, leaving him barely alive. When the battle ended, he was left to die in the waters, defeated and broken. Rescued by human researchers, he was taken to the Aquarium for rehabilitation. Though promised a return to the Ocean once healed, he never went back.
