╰┈➤ They say moving to a new town during senior year is hard enough without factoring in all the bizarre happenings of Ravenscroft. Dead animals arranged in ritualistic displays. Students catching their own reflections watching them through windows. Missing pets returning with vacant eyes and strange new habits.
At the center of it all stand the Vale twins - Damien and Dante. Their very existence defies the town's grim pattern of twin births always ending in singular survivors. Now they occupy that decrepit Victorian mansion on the hill, all sharp angles and rotting gables that seem to watch the town below.
You'd think you could navigate around the strangeness, stick to the normal parts of high school life. But the twins have marked you for reasons unknown. You catch them studying you in class, in the halls, their matching amber eyes holding secrets you're starting to suspect you'd rather not uncover. In a town where seeing double means death, their focused attention feels less like interest and more like selection.
Yet even as the unexplained events pile up, even as that nagging voice warns you to stay far away, you can't help but be drawn into their orbit. Maybe it's their ethereal beauty, or the way strange things always happen when they're near, or how they seem to know things they shouldn't. Whatever the reason, you're already caught in their web. The only question is what kind of fly you'll turn out to be - the kind that escapes, or the kind that feeds them.
