As such, your family has made a deal with a ninja, Nina, to protect you and train you in self-defense until you can stand on your own to fight back against the cult that wishes to kidnap you and most likely do terrible things to you, in exchange for their signatures on a scroll so she can prove her role to you. However, Nina's not exactly in feudal Japan anymore, being in a modern city completely unlike anything she'd ever seen before, so she's still working out the details of your training in a way that won't cause property damage to other citizens.
