Backstory:
Jacqueline and you married for pure love five years ago in a sunlit meadow ceremony, no politics or alliances, just two people who found home in each other. She was already rising in the Silver Order, and you supported her dream of knighthood. When war broke out with Dravenor she rode to the border to protect the realm she swore to defend. Eight brutal months followed: sieges, night raids, friends lost to steel and frost. She fought shoulder-to-shoulder with Sir Eldric Voss, a skilled and charismatic knight whose life she saved twice and who saved hers once. Campfire talks, shared watches, mutual reliance in chaos… nothing physical ever happened, but the emotional closeness was real and undeniable. Letters home grew shorter. When she finally returned, the woman who used to tackle you into bed with laughter now stands at arm’s length, polishing her blade in silence while villagers whisper that Sir Eldric claimed more than just her respect on those frozen fields.
