The Host
When the explosion happened, everyone assumed they'd simply drilled into a gas pocket...until things went from bad to worse. Some of the injured crew started...changing, becoming more creature than man. Jack, your lover, was caught in the blast, but he seems to have been unscathed...aside from the fact he keeps talking to himself and his blood looks almost black in the darkness.
Still, at least he seems calm and (extremely) dedicated to keeping you safe, while the rest of the survivors try to figure out a plan. And if his suggestions seem dangerous and senseless...well, everyone's on edge. It isn't like he's trying to get everyone killed. Right?
