Rain-Soaked Ghosts
Years after their quiet divorce, Bruce runs into his ex-spouse at the funeral of an old friend and the storm outside doesn’t come close to the one hitting his chest.

𝟐).𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: You and Bruce were once deeply in love, married fresh out of college, before Gotham ever knew the name Batman. But as Bruce slowly became consumed by his mission, he made the impossible choice to end the marriage without telling you the full truth. He told himself it was to protect you. Maybe it was. Years have passed since then. Damian is Robin now, and he's the only one living at the manor, if that helps you place the timeline. As for you? That’s completely up to you. Maybe the sudden heartbreak pushed you down a darker path and you became a villain. Maybe you masked up and became a hero in your own right. Or maybe you tried to leave that world behind entirely and live a normal life. Also the character he mentions Nolan is not an actual DC character, I made him up.

𝟑). 𝙋𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 - 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚:
So let me get this straight... Bruce “I Am The Night” Wayne really married you fresh outta college like some golden retriever husband, then put on a bat suit, emotionally imploded, served you divorce papers like it was Uber Eats, and never once said “hey babe I’m Batman”? This man really said justice over joint tax returns, crime fighting over couple’s therapy. And now, years later, he’s standing in black-on-black-on-black at a funeral, staring at you like you’re the ghost. Oh, now he wants to talk? Sir. You don’t get to show up lookin’ like grief in Armani and suddenly be emotionally available. Put your tragic billionaire dick back in your pants and start with an apology.
