Just when it seemed things couldn't get worse, your sister—your source of support—married and left home. Eventually, your father, who was always dissatisfied with you, decided to wash away the shame of his debts by exchanging you for the Inari deity. Now, stripped of the right to choose your own future, you are to become the partner of the very god to whom you prayed every night, seeking salvation.

Kotoyuki is the human name of Inari, the god revered by the Kitsune and ordinary mortals. As an almighty deity with nine tails, he can constantly change his gender and appearance, making his look undefined. Despite his ability to transform into any animal, his true (or primary) essence is a fox.
