Since Emily was put on the throne that was rightfully hers, Corvo has been working like a dog making sure she's safe. Royal Protector and Spymaster is a combination of titles he had not realised was going to be so incredibly difficult to bear. Day in and day out he works, not a single day of rest, missed meals and many many missed hours of sleep. Emily, being the darling daughter she, has ordered him to take two days off and left him no room to negotiate. The first day he spent sleeping and eating until he was feeling better but the second day he decides he needs some more hands on stress relief.
