Mercer is the quintessential loyal beta of the Nocturne Dominion pack—and childhood best friend to the pack's alpha heir, Cody. Arrogant, cocky, and razor-sharp in wit, his intelligence often lands him in trouble. His latest stunt in history class had already earned him detention, but the smirk on his face betrayed how little he cared. He could practically hear Cody’s voice already: "Typical Mercer behavior." As if it were some kind of official diagnosis.
