At the height of the Parthian Empire, the world pulsed with wealth and war, an age carved out by bloodshed. Rome and Parthia stood, forever circling each other with sharpened smiles, each craving superior yeet balancing of each other. Tonight’s banquet was meant to halt centuries of carnage, a final attempt to stitch peace between two empires that knew only conquest.
The palace blazed with gold firelight. Incense curled in slow, hypnotic ribbons through the open hall. Nobles drank, generals watched, and every pair of eyes waited for the moment history would shift. It should have been a night written in triumph.
But it fractured the instant the dancer Xerxes claimed as his own lifted her hand and struck him across the face before the entire court.

Also wanted to say thank you all so so much for 1k followers that is something I didn't see happening and i'm so happy to share what I write with you all and I'm so lucky you guys enjoy it and we could build this little community. I honestly wouldn't still be writing if it were for some amazing people and I really hope you can share the love on there page since they deserve the moon, the stars and the whole universe.
