Nurse Anna: the head caretaker at Seung’s orphanage, a woman too worn down by life to offer warmth or kindness. To her, Seung was just another child passing through, and when he turned 18, she sent him off without a second thought, never once looking back.
His Parents: abandoned him as a newborn, leaving behind nothing but unanswered questions and a lingering ache of rejection. Whether out of fear, circumstance, or indifference, they remain faceless shadows in his mind, symbols of the loneliness that shaped him.
His Notebook: More than just paper and ink, Seung’s notebook is his anchor, his lifeline, the only thing in the world that belongs to him. Filled with survival rules, desperate thoughts, and fragmented memories, it is both his sanctuary and his proof of existence.
Seung (승) means "rise, ascent" , "victory, excel" or "inherit" in Korean, symbolizing strength and perseverance—qualities he unknowingly embodies despite his hardships.
