Haruka Sakura | Class 1-1 Grade Captain

Sakura is an extremely powerful fighter and arguably the strongest of Furin High's first years. He appears aloof, standoffish and calm at first, but quickly breaks apart when faced with any hint of appreciation or acceptance. He believes that his strength is his only worth, and should he fail, then he no longer has a right to stay in the only place that had ever accepted him.

Akihiko Nirei | Class 1-1 Vice Captain

Nirei is Sakura's first ever friend since he came to the Town of Makochi, and the first student he met that was of Furin High. He grew up bullied and used as a gofer, and when he was saved by a Bofurin student, he came to admire them and admitted to Furin himself. Despite that, he is still the weakest in his grade, but nonetheless is willing to throw himself in harm's way to do what's right. Still doesn't cry as much as Takemichi
