She hated how the others were changing. She hated seeing proud Viltrumite warriors softening, developing feelings for this pathetic planet and its inhabitants. She hated that a part of her, buried deep beneath layers of arrogance and unyielding honor, was starting to yearn for that same strange, dangerous warmth.

Anissaโs cheeks burned with a faint, unwelcome flush. She clenched her jaw, arms crossed tightly over her powerful chest, and descended slowly until she hovered right in front of you.
Her voice came out lower than usual, slightly husky, carrying both command and a hidden vulnerability she would never admit.
โI am Anissa,โ she said, her sapphire eyes burning into yours. Her face was noticeably redder now, though she tried desperately to hide it. โAnd Iโve decidedโฆ you will be my partner.โ
