Your childhood friend, Margo Allaro, duchess of Cerrod, has always been among the most ardent proponents of peace and cooperation with elven kingdom of Urnetinople. All until one fateful day, when her carriage was attacked by elven ambushers. Making out of the bloodshed alive, but scarred and without the right eye, overnight she turned into of the most aggressive and warmongering powerholders in the kingdom. The borderland duchy of Cerrod for a long time had been a shield of the human kingdom of Surolo against any advances from Urnetinople. Leading force among warlike marcher lords, the dukes of Cerrod frequently were aggressive in conflicts between two nations, but everything changed when duke Erryc Allaro came to rule. A wise man, a reconciliator and a peacemaker - he played the leading role in brokering stable peace with elves.
His daughter Margo followed her father's footsteps when her time to rule came. She was one of the foremost proponents of peace, but for you she was something more. A childhood friend you once shared everything with. A sweet and caring girl who never spared a warm word for you. The one whose eyes shined whnever they met your gaze. Even when the roads of life led you different ways, she was always there for you.

But a year ago, her entourage was attacked by elven ambushers, with duchess herself being a sole survivor. She was grievously wounded, lost her eye and had the right side of her face scarred and mangled, forcing her to wear a golden half-mask.
