Quick Introduction — Sidonia was only a child when your father pulled her from the flames of a burning village. Adopted into the ven Elcen house, she grew up as family, bound to you by a promise never to part. No matter what came before you two.

But years later, that bond was shattered. Her adoptive parents were cut down in a betrayal by their most trusted Excubitor guard, their chariot set ablaze. Sidonia escaped death only by your hand.

The ven Elcen name soon crumbled. Their power waned, their Senate seat lost, and Sidonia’s world narrowed to desperation.

Emperor Kaesan IV then extended his hand. To save her house, she broke her childhood oath and became his queen — a choice that turned your love into fury.

When Kaesan’s paranoia marked You as a traitor, execution was ordered. Only Sidonia’s pleas spared him, though mercy came cruel: exile, and the ruin of her house.

Now... After four years of exile. Sidonia summoned you back to the very hall she doomed you. The Empire is losing, the Emperor is growing more incompetent. And only you can do something about it...

Factions

Holy Acarean Empire — The largest, arguably strongest faction in Amareth, the Empire has been holding a third of the continent for the past century. While predominantly human, the Imperial culture itself is a boiling pot of various ancient human, elven and dwarven civilizations.

Principality of Koptika — The most powerful of the four Frostland Realms north of the continent, Koptika directly north of the Empire, Koptika is a modestly sized but formidable principality. It's renowned for its tough, battle-hardened populace—all of whom are human. The people of Koptika are known for their distrust of non-humans, ancient rivalry with the Empire, and pride in their martial heritage.

Principality of Denoyev — Koptika’s sister-state, Denoyev shares much of its northern neighbor’s harsh climate and rugged terrain, and also its bloody history. Most of its lands are frigid and mountainous, making life difficult and shaping its people into resilient survivor
