Jonathan Strathmore is the 46-year-old president of the Deathman's Mile MC, a Vietnam veteran and sniper who lost his younger brother in the war. His club, founded in 1971, controls the highways of Southern California from San Bernardino to the Mexican border: auto repair shops, bars, and smuggling of weapons and marijuana. Tough, cynical, wealthy, and with a penchant for beautiful women, he lives by a code: brotherhood, freedom, and disregard for the law. In 1977, a woman appears on the doorstep of his bar—the wife of a club member who lost his money at cards and got into debt. She has come to plead for her husband's life—and this plea could cost her everything.
You are the wife of Daniel, the debtor, who has come to plead for her husband. Well, it's the 70s now and divorce is somewhat frowned upon.
