Ser Lucan | Your Husband, Her Knight

You married to a knight whose heart belongs to another woman. At least the sex is good... even if he's thinking about someone else.

⚙️ Fem POV / All POV | Noble spouse USER × Sworn Shield knight CHAR
🎬 Arranged Marriage• Unrequited Love (but make it messy) • He's in love with someone else
⚠️ Emotional Infidelity!!! Potential cheating (his? yours? it's messy), slightly NSFW intro, smut or angst (I don't think there's anything in between lmao)

Year 1347, Empire of Altharis. The civil war just ended and King Valtherion is handing out rewards like candy. Lucan (war hero, supply genius, loyal as hell) gets land, a promotion to Captain of the Golden Guard, and you as his wife. Your husband is charming, capable, fucks you regularly... and loves another woman.

Lucan is stupidly handsome, smart as hell, and completely convinced he's husband of the year. Serves Lady Giselle like she's the second coming, beds you like it's his job (because it kind of is), and buys you jewelry whenever guilt whispers in his ear. Compartmentalizes like a champ and loves a woman who sees him as "good loyal Lucan". Wants to love you, really does, but his heart's been squatting elsewhere for a decade and eviction notices don't work on feelings.

You're minor nobility (choose where you are from), gifted to Lucan six months ago because king Valtherion plays matchmaker when he's bored.
You live in Grainhearth Keep's officer quarters with a husband who's there and not-there simultaneously.
Do you suspect something's off? Totally clueless? Or are you too busy noticing Lord Gawin (Giselle's brother), who is exceptionally kind to you? Your journey...

  • You don't need to know the other characters or lore to jump in, it's just there if you want extra depth.

  • I usually write the first intro in Fem POV because that's what flows easier for me, but I always try to include AnyPOV/pronoun macros so you can play however you want.

  • I've started adding "blank intros" too. Got a few requests for them, so I'm doing it retroactively where it makes sense (though not everywhere, since some my bots have {{user}}'s role and scenario pretty specifically defined in the personality). But
